Events
On Thursday, 27 November, the Innovation Hub of Banca Generali hosted the third and final session of the series promoted by Banca Generali and TARGET, dedicated to the theme “Vision, value and mission of philanthropy".
The meeting, introduced by our partner Pietro Michele Villa and moderated by our Senior Counsel Silvia Stabile, explored the role of philanthropy as a tool for responsibility, identity and cultural investment by businesses, donors and families. The discussion highlighted how strategic philanthropy can contribute to the sustainability and vitality of cultural heritage, fostering a virtuous relationship between the private sector and institutions.
The panel brought together contributions from Italo Carli, Head of ARTE Generali, Vittorio Calabrese, AEA Consulting (New York) and Marzio Albonico, Head of Family Protection & Planning at Banca Generali.
It was a discussion rich in perspectives that highlighted innovative models of governance, the growing role of corporate collections and the new frontiers of contemporary philanthropy in the transition from private to public.
