"Collectible Cars: strategies for preserving and passing on value"

Events

On June 10, in the exceptional setting of the Motor Valley at the Dallara Academy in Varano de' Melegari, the roundtable “Collectible Cars: Strategies for Preserving and Passing On Value” was held, promoted by Edmond de Rothschild and TARGET. The event focused on collectible, sports, historic, and vintage cars.

Together with collectors, entrepreneurial families, professionals, and experts, we explored the patrimonial and identity value of collections, the importance of preserving historical archives, and the key governance, legal, and tax tools for their protection, enhancement, and succession planning.

Following the welcome address by Engineer Gian Paolo Dallara, founder of the iconic automotive brand, the event was introduced by our Partner Alfredo Malguzzi and Tommaso Benerecetti, Head of Italian Private Banking at Edmond de Rothschild. Opening remarks were delivered by Giovanni Fracasso, Managing Director at Edmond de Rothschild, and our Partner Pietro Michele Villa.

The roundtable discussion featured contributions from Gianmarco Beltrami, Head of Institutional Relations at Dallara; Corrado Lopresto, Collector; Alessandro Cianci, Head of Wealth Planning Italy at Edmond de Rothschild; our Senior Counsel Silvia Stabile; and our Senior Associate Beatrice Pezza. The debate was moderated by Aldo Tagliaferro from Gazzetta di Parma.

A multidisciplinary and thought-provoking conversation with a clear mission: to support outstanding Italian enterprises and private collectors in a responsible, sustainable, and forward-looking path—guided by the most up-to-date legal tools and a commitment to future generations.
